Fans of the Toronto Maple Leafs can relate, as there have been several times when the NHL team appeared to have signed a superstar player, only for the deals to fall through. The Raptors also share the pain of dashed expectations, as they lost out on signing the world’s greatest baseball player. This year’s season seems to be a struggle for all Toronto sports teams.
