The Community Arts Center in Nether Providence will be hosting the 12th annual Tie-Dye Music Festival on July 20th from 4-8pm. This free event will feature live music from three bands as well as tie-dye activities where guests can purchase event T-shirts or bring their own items to dye. Dos Gringos Mexican Kitchen will also be on site with food for purchase. Additionally, vendors will be selling ceramics and Grateful Dead merchandise.
In other community news, Delaware Hospice is expanding into Southern Pennsylvania with a new office in Glen Mills, while PCS Theater presents “Honk!” a musical adaptation of “The Ugly Duckling” from July 12-21. This heartwarming production tells the story of acceptance and self-love through the journey of a unique duckling.
Schoolhouse Center in Folsom will be hosting a Christmas in July event on July 25th, offering a variety of items for sale to support the senior center. And in Wilmington, the World’s Largest Bounce House Tour will be at Kirkwood Sports from July 5-7, featuring seven massive inflatable attractions and a foam party inflatable. Tickets are available for sessions organized by age group.
