Iron Mountain Hot Springs in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, has expanded its offerings to include 13 “inspired pools” that replicate famous hot springs from around the world. Each pool is mixed with specific mineral recipes based on the mineral count of the original hot springs. The destination’s expansion, known as WorldSprings, includes pools inspired by locations such as Iceland, Italy, Japan, and Australia.
The 21-and-older section of Iron Mountain Hot Springs features a cafe serving cocktails, smoothies, and food, creating a relaxing atmosphere for adult visitors. The expansion was realized in partnership with Off Road Capital Partners, with a similar WorldSprings location opening outside Dallas.
Feedback from visitors led to the addition of more pools directly over the Colorado River and the inclusion of a larger cold plunge in future expansions to accommodate customer requests. The hope is to add more pools and private cabanas along the river in the upcoming expansion next summer.
Reservations are required for entry to WorldSprings, allowing for controlled crowding and ensuring a relaxing experience for all visitors. The pools are open daily from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., with three-hour slot reservations available for $59 on the Iron Mountain Hot Springs website. This expansion offers a unique opportunity for visitors to experience a taste of hot springs from around the world without leaving Colorado.
