Elizabeth Ann “Betty Ann” Lee, aged 86, passed away peacefully at home on July 2, 2024, with her family by her side. She was born in Wilmington, DE in 1938 and was a beloved member of St. John the Beloved Roman Catholic Church. Betty Ann was known for her caring and loving ways towards everyone she met. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going on trips, and being an active member of her church.
She is survived by her five children, Christine Lee Turner, Lynda Lee, Joanne Lee Wright, Jackie Lee Dunning, and John C. Lee, Jr., as well as her siblings, nieces, and nephews. Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband and several family members. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on July 10, 2024, at St. John the Beloved Roman Catholic Church, with visitation starting at 10:30AM.
The family expressed their gratitude to their caregivers and Bayada Hospice for the care they provided. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association. Doherty Funeral Homes, Inc. is assisting with arrangements. Elizabeth Ann “Betty Ann” Lee will be remembered for her kind and loving nature, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
