Ohio Wesleyan University has been recognized as one of the “Best Colleges in America 2024” by Money magazine. The publication highlighted that OWU offers financial aid to all students and that graduates have early career earnings exceeding $53,500 annually. The selection process involved evaluating 25 factors related to quality, affordability, and graduate outcomes.

Nearly all students receive financial aid, with the university meeting 89% of their financial need on average. Additionally, 27% of students receive merit grants, with an average award of $32,410 annually.
In addition to its financial aid offerings, OWU recently announced the Delaware County Promise program, allowing eligible students from Delaware County to attend the university tuition-free.
