The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office recently held its first ever training academy graduation, where nine individuals became peace officers in their respective communities. Members from the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, Delaware Police Department, and Lancaster Police Department all graduated from the program. Delaware County Prosecutor Melissa A. Schiffel, who has worked closely with law enforcement throughout her career, expressed her pride in seeing officers she has worked with advance in their careers.
