Tour de France Femmes 2024: Stage Four Brings the Race to Liège – Live Coverage on Tour de France Femmes Channel


The Tour de France Femmes stage four began with 144 riders after three abandonments this morning. The stage, starting at 11:25 UK time, included eight climbs and promised to be a challenging day for the cyclists. Lorena Wiebes expressed hope that her team, SD Worx-Protime, could continue performing well after teammate Demi Vollering won the individual time trial.

The route for the day included significant hills in the Netherlands before heading into Belgium, passing through Limburg and Valkenburg. The 122km stage featured three category four climbs, three category three climbs, and two category two climbs. An intermediate sprint was scheduled for Pepinster after 67.5km of racing. Riders were expected to try and make breakaways during the hilly terrain.
