Approval Given for Restaurant Expansion in Delaware Gazette

Genoa Township is seeing expansion and development in the restaurant and business sectors after recent meetings of the Zoning Commission and Board of Trustees. Giammarco’s Restaurant received approval for a 1,360-square-foot expansion, while Campfire Brewing was approved for outdoor seating and recreation areas. The Olive Branch and Northgate Offices also received approval for development plans. The Development and Zoning office has been busy processing applications for both residential and non-residential businesses.

In addition to business developments, the trustees have approved new services from the Delaware County Transit, promotions within the police and fire departments, and accepted grants for public health projects. They also approved levies for roads and bridges, as well as fire/EMS services for the 2024 General Election. A resolution to prohibit adult use cannabis operators and medical marijuana establishments in the township was also passed.

Future public hearings have been scheduled for the final development plans of Northgate Commercial Office and The Olive Branch. The trustees will continue to work on projects that contribute to the growth and development of Genoa Township.
