Vandalism Suspect in Center City Philadelphia Damages Cars and Shatters Windshields

Philadelphia police are investigating a strange case of vehicle vandalism in Center City, where multiple cars between 9th and 11th streets were targeted on Tuesday. The suspect caused extensive damage to the vehicles, including stomping on windshields and roofs. One of the cars had a handicap tag hanging in the window.

Witnesses, including Isabella Giglio and Catie Mason, were shocked at the amount of damage done in just a few minutes. Some drivers had only parked their cars for a short time before discovering the vandalism. Glass fragments, dented roofs, and footprints were found all over the damaged cars, making them unsafe to drive.

Witnesses reported that the suspect acted quickly, smashing windshields and yelling loudly before calmly walking away. This incident was unsettling for victims like Gary Love, who had experienced car vandalism before. Despite the damage, the suspect has not been arrested.

Philadelphia police are urging anyone with information to come forward and call 215-686-TIPS. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are working to identify and apprehend the suspect responsible for the vandalism spree in Center City.
