Relaxation at last: Graebner kicks back

Dr. Jane Graebner, the esteemed podiatrist who founded the Foot and Ankle Wellness Center in Delaware over four decades ago, has officially retired. Over the span of her career, Graebner has had a significant impact on the lives of many in the community and beyond. Reflecting on her time in Delaware, Graebner expressed her gratitude for the sense of belonging the community provided and the personal growth she experienced during her tenure.

Originating her career as a podiatrist at a young age, Graebner’s passion for personalized care led her to establish her own practice in Delaware after gaining experience in Chicago. Over the years, her practice grew substantially, leading her to move locations numerous times until finally settling in a permanent building in 2012. With a team of five doctors and various healthcare professionals under her wing, Graebner has made a lasting impact on the community.

As she closes this chapter in her life, Graebner looks forward to pursuing her hobbies, spending time with her family, and checking off items on her bucket list. Despite retiring from her practice, she acknowledges that she will miss the daily opportunities for growth and learning, as well as the meaningful connections she has formed with her patients and colleagues over the years. Nevertheless, she is grateful for the support and well-wishes she received on her last day, solidifying the lasting impact she has had in the Delaware community.
