Apple recently hosted an event at its headquarters in Cupertino, California, where they unveiled new versions of the iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch. The new iPhone models are powered by the A18 Pro chip with second-generation 3-nanometer transistors and a 16-core neural engine for increased performance and efficiency. The cameras on the iPhone 16 Pro models have been upgraded with features such as a 48-megapixel fusion camera, 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and 5x telephoto camera for improved photo and video capabilities. The devices also offer new audio features, such as studio-quality mics and spatial audio capture.
Apple also announced enhancements to Voice Memos, allowing users to layer additional tracks on recorded audio, and introduced the Audio Mix feature for isolating speech from background noise. The iPhone 16 Pro starts at $999, while the Pro Max starts at $1,199, with pre-orders beginning on Friday and in-store sales starting on September 20th.
