Authorities in Delaware County are seeking the public’s help in locating Bruno Vasquez Munguia, 22, in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on Sunday morning in Marlboro Township. The incident, which resulted in the death of one male individual, occurred near the Norton-Waldo Road area. An arrest warrant has been issued for Munguia, who is believed to be armed and dangerous and may be in either Columbus or Indiana.
The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office has advised the public not to approach Munguia if spotted, but to immediately call 9-1-1 or contact the sheriff’s office. Charges are anticipated for several individuals who were detained at the scene during the investigation.
Following the shooting, the Delaware County Tactical Unit cleared the residence and surrounding property while neighbors were instructed to shelter in place. Various law enforcement agencies, including Genoa Township, Westerville, Sunbury, Dublin, and Delaware police departments, the Ohio State Highway Patrol, and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, assisted at the scene.
The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigations is aiding in the crime scene investigation. Anyone with information on Munguia’s whereabouts is urged to contact the authorities.
