The Orange Township Board of Zoning Appeals in Lewis Center has been actively meeting throughout the year to review various variance applications and cases. Some of the topics discussed include signage for businesses, residential variances, and minor development plan amendments. The board consists of Chair Kelvin Trefz, Vice Chair Sue D. Ross, Stacey Neff, Joseph Pax, and Panitha Sundar. The Orange Zoning Commission has also had recent meetings to discuss zoning resolutions and applications for rezoning and development plan amendments. The Commission is made up of Chair Christine Trebellas, Vice Chair Dennis McNulty, and several other members, along with various staff members.
In addition to the zoning boards, the township also has a Community Volunteer Board that meets regularly to discuss various community projects and initiatives. Subcommittees within the board focus on veterans/special projects, events, zoning and land use, public safety, and parks. The meetings take place at the Orange Township Hall in Lewis Center.
