The Central Ohio Symphony will kick off its 2024-2025 season at Ohio Wesleyan University’s Gray Chapel on October 12th. The concert will feature works by Bernstein and Beethoven, as well as a special performance of “Danzas de Panama” with students from Hayes High School. The students will have the opportunity to work with the Dalí String Quartet, the Symphony’s guest artists, thanks to support from the Loft Violin Shop and Delaware Music Boosters.
The Dalí Quartet, named the 2024 Ensemble of the Year by Chamber Music America, will also perform Latin-American pieces during the concert. In addition, they will give a free concert at the Liberty Branch Library on October 10th. The Central Ohio Symphony, Delaware’s professional symphony orchestra, is known for its diverse programming and commitment to showcasing new talent and music.
