Band to Perform Two Competitions this Weekend

The Grand Pacer Marching Band recently received an “excellent” rating at the 47th Hilliard Bradley Marching Band Invitational and will be competing in four more competitions this month. Despite not achieving a “superior” rating like last year, Director Bill Fowles is proud of the band’s performance and looks forward to making adjustments based on feedback from adjudicators. The band will be performing at the Buckeye Invitational this weekend at The Ohio State University, as well as at the Canal Winchester Marching Band Invitational and the Thomas Worthington Invitational. Fowles expressed excitement for these upcoming events and confidence that the band will continue to improve and reach its potential. The band hopes to secure a spot in the State Marching Band Finals at Hilliard Bradley on October 26, with Fowles expressing optimism about the band’s chances. Overall, the Grand Pacer Marching Band is showing dedication and commitment to their performances, and Fowles is confident in their ability to succeed in the upcoming competitions.
