Taylor Swift had a personal connection to the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the New Orleans Saints on Monday night. Khalen Saunders, a defensive tackle for the Saints, is the brother of Kameron Saunders, a backup dancer for Swift during her Eras Tour. Swift, who was in attendance at the game, had also previously been seen with Khalen’s interception target Patrick Mahomes and his boyfriend Travis Kelce in London. Khalen intercepted Mahomes in the third quarter, right after making a big hit on Kelce. This interception was Khalen’s second career interception. He mentioned that Swift is his brother’s boss but he was there first. Khalen, who used to play for the Chiefs before joining the Saints in 2022, had won two Super Bowls with Kansas City. The game was full of personal connections and behind-the-scenes links between the players and Swift, making it an interesting watch for fans of both pop music and football.
