First Commonwealth Bank’s Ohio Regions has appointed Stephanie Aguila as their new Community Revitalization Act (CRA) Officer. Aguila, who brings nearly 30 years of banking experience and a strong background in Ohio, previously worked as a Community Development Finance Senior Associate for Fifth Third Bank.
First Commonwealth’s Senior Vice President/Corporate CRA Officer Evan Zuverink expressed excitement about Aguila joining the team and highlighted her career path as being well-suited for the important CRA work in Columbus, Cincinnati, and Cleveland regions.
In her new role, Aguila will work with colleagues across the state to lead First Commonwealth’s CRA strategic initiatives. She will engage with various stakeholders such as not-for-profits, developers, builders, churches, realtors, and government agencies to establish First Commonwealth’s presence through lending, investment, and service opportunities.
Aguila, a lifelong Ohio resident, holds degrees from Columbus State Community College and The University of Phoenix in Columbus. She currently resides in Lewis Center with her husband and two sons who attend Ohio State University.
