Stacey Williams, a former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, publicly accused Donald Trump of groping her while Jeffrey Epstein watched 31 years ago. Williams shared her story during a “Survivors for Kamala” Zoom call, citing her desire to prevent Trump from being re-elected. Her decision to come forward was not influenced by the Democratic Party, despite claims made by the Trump campaign. Williams’ allegation was found credible by seven individuals she confided in between 2006 and 2022. None of Epstein’s previous associates have accused Trump of misconduct involving Epstein. Williams described the incident where Trump groped her in Trump Tower and described how Epstein blamed her afterwards. In a Milwaukee reporting done in 2005, a postcard from Trump addressed to Williams was mentioned. Williams never reported the incident to the police and never saw Trump again. Her decision to speak out now was influenced by the upcoming election and a recent interview she was a part of. Trump has previously faced allegations of sexual misconduct from other women, including E. Jean Carroll, and has denied all claims. This allegation adds to the controversy surrounding Trump’s behavior towards women and comes at a critical time, just before the upcoming election. Williams hopes that by sharing her story, she can shed light on the harmful effects of sexual assault.
