Former President Donald Trump is making a push for Pennsylvania’s 19 electoral votes, a key battleground state, ahead of the upcoming Election Day. On October 29, 2024, Trump is set to participate in a roundtable discussion in Delaware County with former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee to discuss business in the Philadelphia suburbs. The event will focus on concerns over the Biden-Harris administration’s Medicare policies and other issues affecting Southeast Pennsylvania residents.
Following the roundtable, Trump will hold a nighttime rally in the Lehigh Valley at the PPL Center in downtown Allentown. The rally is expected to draw large crowds, prompting the Allentown School District to close schools as a precaution. The district cited concerns over heavy traffic and potential disruptions that could impact the safety and security of students and staff.
Trump’s visit to Pennsylvania comes on the heels of a get-out-the-vote rally held by rock legend Bruce Springsteen, singer/songwriter John Legend, and former President Barack Obama in North Philadelphia. With just a week remaining until Election Day, Trump is making a final push to secure Pennsylvania’s crucial electoral votes. The state has historically been a key battleground, and both parties are focusing their efforts on rallying support in the final days leading up to the election.
