Dover Motor Speedway Hosts "Gift of Lights" for the Holiday Season
DOVER, DE – The highly anticipated "Gift of Lights at Dover Motor Speedway" has returned for its third consecutive year, enchanting visitors with a dazzling display of holiday spirit. This drive-thru spectacle runs nightly from Thanksgiving through January 5, featuring over 100 illuminated scenes and 2.5 million lights along a nearly two-mile pathway winding through the speedway’s campgrounds.
Produced by Winterland, Inc. and supported by sponsors including Dover Behavioral Health System, Delaware Lottery, Carter Machinery, and Visit Central Delaware, this festive event is set to delight families and friends alike.
Regular visiting hours are from 5 PM to 9 PM, Sunday through Thursday, and extended until 10 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. During the holiday period from December 19 to December 29, special hours will be observed. Tickets are available online at GiftOfLightsDover.com or upon arrival, with prices set at $35 per car and $60 for larger vehicles like buses and limousines.
In addition, several themed nights are lined up throughout the event. Highlights include Military Mondays with discounted entry for active-duty military personnel and their families, as well as themed nights such as Pajama Night, Pet Night, and Christmas Sweater Night, all offering various discounts.
