Foxconn, the world’s largest electronics manufacturing service provider, is taking part in the 2nd annual Taiwan International Assembly of Space Science, Technology, and Industry (TASTI) as a title sponsor. The event, organized by the Taiwan Space Agency, is showcasing the latest innovations in global space technology. Foxconn is highlighting new generation space communications and collaboration with industry partners to create a comprehensive ecosystem for the satellite industry.
Dr. Jen-Ming Wu, an advisory committee member for TASTI, emphasized the importance of strong collaborations in the sector. Jesse Chao, Senior Director of Foxconn’s B5G policy group, will participate in a roundtable on public-private collaborations. Foxconn will showcase its PEARL CubeSat model and discuss its in-orbit operation technologies, demonstrating its satellite system integration capabilities. Innovations from the Group’s satellite communications industry chain partnerships will also be on display.
Technology partner MediaTek Inc will showcase its Software Defined Radio chip supporting Non-Terrestrial Networks, while US-based Antaris will exhibit its software platform for space missions. The event aims to highlight the development of the space ecosystem, from Taiwan to the global stage. Foxconn’s strong support for space innovation is evident in its participation at TASTI 2024.
