The University of Pennsylvania football team faced a tough loss against Delaware in their first game of the season. Despite a strong first half, the Quakers were unable to sustain their lead as the Blue Hens pulled ahead with a dominant third quarter, a late touchdown, and a turnover in the final minutes of the game, resulting in a 29-22 victory for Delaware.

Penn’s Malachi Hosley had an impressive performance with 176 rushing yards, while Jared Richardson led the team with five catches for 98 yards. The Quakers’ defense also put up a good fight, with John Lista leading the team in tackles.
