After dropping out of the presidential race and endorsing Donald Trump, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was listed as a lawyer for a California law firm called JW Howard Attorneys. The Trump campaign, now known as Never Surrender Inc., paid the firm $100,000 in September 2024, just three weeks after Kennedy backed Trump. Kennedy’s financial disclosure revealed that he had an employment agreement with JW Howard from January 2023 to December 2024, earning over $409,000 in income from the firm in 2023. FEC records show that the Trump campaign made no other payments to JW Howard Attorneys during the 2023-24 election cycle, while Team Kennedy had paid the firm several times between August 2023 and April 2024. The law firm’s website includes a photo of Kennedy and lists him as a constitutional and environmental litigator based in the Los Angeles area.
Kennedy had endorsed Trump in August and was later nominated by Trump to lead the Department of Health and Human Services. However, both the Trump transition team and representatives for Kennedy and JW Howard declined to comment on the matter.
