Despite the heavy voter turnout, election official Hartsky-Carter reported that voting has been running smoothly, with no significant issues and respectful behavior from voters. Delaware residents have the opportunity to vote early at various locations from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Tuesday, with extended hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. starting on Wednesday through November 3. Election Day is set for November 5.
The high levels of participation in Sussex County reflect a growing interest in the electoral process and civic engagement among Delaware residents.
