Delaware celebrates its historical significance as the first state to ratify the U.S. Constitution on December 7th, known as “Delaware Day.” To mark this occasion, the Division of Historical and Cultural Affairs is hosting a Delaware Day Adventure contest. Participants are encouraged to visit five state-managed museums between December 7th and 28th and have their passports stamped for a chance to win prizes. The contest aims to promote awareness of Delaware’s critical role in the nation’s founding. Completed passports must be submitted by December 28, 2024, and winners will be randomly selected and notified by January 10, 2025. This exciting opportunity allows visitors to explore Delaware’s rich history while having a chance to win rewards. For more information and to enter the contest, visit the Delaware Department of State’s Division of Historical and Cultural Affairs website. Celebrate Delaware Day with adventure, exploration, and a trip through the state’s fascinating past.
