The Institute for the Future of Education (IFE) at Tecnológico de Monterrey is hosting the 11th edition of the IFE Conference from January 28 to 30 in Monterrey, Mexico. With the theme of “Driving the Future of Education with Innovation and Technology,” the conference brings together over 4,650 attendees from 27 countries to explore the role of emerging technologies in shaping global education and societies. Juan Pablo Murra, Rector of Tecnológico de Monterrey, emphasized the importance of integrating technology with pedagogical expertise to drive societal transformation.
José Escamilla, Associate Director of IFE, highlighted the rapid changes in education driven by technology such as AI and online learning. Over 110 university presidents and education leaders will discuss challenges and opportunities in educational transformation. The conference also includes sessions on information technologies, public policy impacts, and lifelong learning models, as well as a forum on educational technology entrepreneurship.
Speakers discussed the role of AI in education, stressing the importance of human interaction alongside technology. The conference features over 250 activities, including keynotes, panel discussions, awards, and networking sessions on topics like emerging technologies, the future of work, entrepreneurship, and sustainability. Over the past decade, IFE has brought together education professionals and innovation advocates from around the world to shape the future of education.
