Temple women’s lacrosse is gearing up for the 2025 season with a road game against Delaware on Friday. The Owls, predicted to finish third in the AAC, have standout players like goalkeeper Taylor Grollman and attacker Amelia Wright, who made the AAC Preseason All-Conference Team. Grollman was also named AAC Preseason Goalkeeper of the Year.

After a 9-7 record in 2024, Temple has added seven new players to the team, including Virginia Tech transfer Kendall Lally. Key seniors this season are Wright, Erin King, and Grollman, with junior Sabrina Martin looking to continue her success from last season.

Grollman, who was an All-AAC First Team selection in 2024, had an impressive year with 127 saves, a .470 save percentage, and a 9.53 goals-against average. She received multiple accolades and was named an Inside Lacrosse Midseason All-American.

Meanwhile, Delaware finished 2024 with a 10-6 record, falling to Temple 13-8 in their last meeting. The stage is set for an exciting game as these two teams face off to kickstart the season.
