Milford is set to expand its free public Wi-Fi service along the Riverwalk, doubling the current coverage for users to enjoy seamless internet access. The initiative, which was launched last year, has already attracted over 1,000 unique users in just a few months.
Lauren Swain, Milford’s Economic Development and Community Engagement Administrator, highlighted the benefits of the expanded Wi-Fi coverage, noting that it will provide more accessibility for users to enjoy the Riverwalk without any barriers. With the enhanced connectivity, users can easily post on social media, visit local shops, restaurants, and cafes while exploring downtown Milford.
The Wi-Fi system utilizes state-of-the-art technology to ensure high-speed performance and a reliable connection for all users. Swain emphasized that the free Wi-Fi service also serves as a marketing tool for the city, as visitors can share their experiences in real-time, showcasing Milford’s businesses to a wider audience.
