Human remains believed to be those of Israeli hostage Shiri Bibas were returned by Hamas two days after initially returning the wrong body. Shiri Bibas, along with her two children, Ariel and Kfir, were abducted from their kibbutz in 2023, with the children later being brutally murdered in captivity according to the IDF.
The Hostages and Missing Families Forum expressed their support for the Bibas family in their time of grief, marking the end of over 500 days of uncertainty and pain. The IDF is still reviewing reports of the release of a new body, as the investigation into the mistaken return of the remains continues.
