Authorities say thieves pretend to have a seizure to steal bulldog puppies worth over $8,000 in recorded robbery.

Over the weekend, a trio of thieves staged a seizure in a Denver-area pet store to divert attention while they stole two valuable bulldog puppies. The puppies, worth $4,300 each, remain missing and the suspects are still at large. One of the suspects, Timothy Davis, was taken into custody after faking a seizure to distract the store employees. He was booked on several charges, including theft and drug possession, with a bond set at $2,500. The other two suspects escaped in a gold Cadillac Escalade. The theft was captured on the store’s security video, where one of the suspects is seen faking a seizure to distract employees while another grabbed the puppies from their pen. A scuffle ensued when an employee tried to intervene, resulting in the employee being kicked in the face. This incident is not the first at the store, as there was another theft of high-value dogs a few weeks prior. In that incident, two women used a diversion about purchasing hamsters to steal the dogs while the store owner was busy. The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating the suspects and the missing puppies. They have released a photo of the getaway vehicle in hopes of tracking down the remaining suspects involved in the theft.
