The game was tied at 77 when Parson made his winning shot after Martaz Robinson’s 3-pointer for the Hornets. Po’Boigh King contributed 21 points for North Carolina Central, while Muneer Newton led Delaware State with 27 points.
The Eagles will face South Carolina State in the semifinals, while Norfolk State will take on Morgan State in the other semifinal matchup.
