Fifty-one people were killed and over 100 injured in a nightclub fire in the town of Kocani, North Macedonia. The fire was caused by pyrotechnic devices used during a concert, sparking flames that quickly spread. A video shows the band on stage with flares firing sparks, igniting the ceiling above them. Firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze at the club, called ‘Pulse.’ 27 people were hospitalized with severe burns and 23 were being treated at the Clinical Center in Skopje.
