Governor Matt Meyer has nominated Judge Eric M. Davis to serve as the new President Judge of the Superior Court of Delaware. Judge Davis has been on the Superior Court since 2012, with a strong background in law and a history of balanced and fair decisions. He brings extensive experience, having chaired the Complex Commercial Litigation Division, and a commitment to upholding the high standards of the judiciary. If confirmed, Judge Davis will lead the court in handling a wide range of civil and criminal cases with efficiency and fairness, maintaining Delaware’s reputation as a premier venue for corporate litigation. His appointment follows the retirement of former President Judge Jan R. Jurden, and his term will begin upon Senate confirmation. Governor Meyer expressed confidence in Judge Davis’s ability to lead the court into the future and ensure justice is served in Delaware.
