Delaware State Police are currently investigating a robbery that took place early Sunday morning in New Castle. An Uber driver was confronted by seven individuals who entered his vehicle and became disorderly when told there were too many passengers. The driver was then thrown to the ground by three suspects who stole his cell phone and fled in his car. Despite the incident, the driver was not injured.
The suspects, described as high school-aged black males and females, are still at large. The Delaware State Police Troop 2 Criminal Investigations Unit is actively looking into the case and asks anyone with relevant information to contact Detective D.
