Nintendo Switch 2 users can expect improved performance in Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition thanks to the utilization of Nvidia’s DLSS upscaling technology. The game will offer a 30 FPS Quality Mode and a 40 FPS Performance Mode in both Handheld and Docked modes. Handheld Performance Mode will upscale to 720p with a 40 FPS target. This news comes as CD Projekt Red gears up for the Switch 2 launch, with pre-orders starting on April 24 and a slight price increase on some accessories to compensate for tariffs. The more powerful Nvidia processor in the Switch 2 enables developers to incorporate advanced features like DLSS to enhance gaming experience. Cyberpunk 2077 on Switch 2 will provide players with different upscaling options through Quality Mode and Performance Mode based on the console’s mode and display setup. The game will run at 1080p in Quality Mode and 40 FPS Performance Mode on compatible displays. However, due to using an older version of Nvidia DLSS, some exclusive features like DLSS 4 will not be available.
