The Stevens Institute of Technology softball team staged a double comeback against Delaware Valley on Senior Day, winning both games of a Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom sweep. In Game 1, the Ducks rallied from a 4-2 deficit in the bottom of the seventh inning to secure a walk-off victory. Game 2 saw another comeback as Stevens overcame a 6-2 deficit in the fourth inning to win 9-6. The team’s graduating members were honored between games. The Ducks finished the doubleheader with only one strikeout and Allison Mitloff had an impressive performance, going 5-for-6 and raising her batting average to .481 for the season. The team heads to Purchase, New York for a matchup against Manhattanville on Wednesday. With the wins, Stevens improved their record to 20-16 overall and 9-3 in MAC Freedom play. The team is showing resilience and determination as they head into the latter part of their season, ready to take on the challenges ahead.
