Southern Delaware Tourism (SDT) recently hosted its annual Tourism Partners Expo at Nassau Valley Vineyards. The event brought together tourism-related businesses in Sussex County to showcase their offerings to representatives of accommodations providers and tourism ambassadors. Exhibitors included outfitters, historical societies, attractions, event organizers, transportation providers, and tour companies.
The expo provided a platform for exhibitors to highlight new offerings and for tourism partners to brainstorm ways of working together to create new experiences for visitors and locals. This year’s event featured seventeen exhibitors, with attendees engaging in conversations and collaborations.
Lana O’Hollaren, Southern Delaware Tourism marketing manager, expressed satisfaction with the partnerships formed at the expo. The event aimed to educate hotel partners about the many activities and experiences available in Sussex County that they can share with their guests. Lauren Fonvielle of Tap Into Success and Janis Markopolous of Delmarva Discovery Tours were among the participants at the successful expo.
