InfiMotion Technology Unveils Advanced Drive System at Shanghai Auto Show
Göteborg, Sweden – InfiMotion Technology Europe AB has launched its cutting-edge TL 300, a lightweight integrated drive system crafted from magnesium alloy, aimed at enhancing performance and efficiency in next-generation vehicles. This innovative system merges dual motors, dual reducers, and a Power Control Module (PCM) into a compact package designed for various vehicle platforms.
Earlier this year, InfiMotion showcased its technology at the Shanghai Auto Show, unveiling its dual-track strategy that spans current and future development in the electric drive sector. The company demonstrated its capabilities across both pure electric and hybrid models, catering to voltage ranges of 400V to 800V, addressing the diverse needs of the auto industry.
The TL 300 employs an industry-first magnesium-aluminium alloy housing that reduces mass by 25% and assembly weight by over 10%. It features a patented 360° bidirectional cooling architecture that ensures sustained high performance, achieving impressive sub-5-second acceleration from 0-100 km/h for multiple cycles. Peak system efficiency reaches 89.5%, enhancing vehicle energy economy.
In addition to the TL 300, InfiMotion introduced an eXtended Control Module (XCM) that integrates several functionalities for hybrid vehicles, promising a more efficient and cost-effective solution. The company’s innovative designs extend to adjustable magnetic field motors and advanced power electronics solutions like hybrid SiC and Si configurations, optimizing performance across various vehicle types.
