Wednesday brought changes to Dewey Beach, where the town council approved an increase in jaywalking fines to $50, emphasizing pedestrian safety.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday unveiled the new Rehoboth Beach Patrol Station, which is fully ADA accessible and features 96 staff lockers. The project, constructed since December 2023, totaled $5.5 million, exceeding the budget by $750,000.

Finally, on Friday, community members in Lewes received updates on Tharros Village, a proposed structured homeless community near Coastal Highway. Residents had the chance to offer feedback and learn about the project’s next steps.
