Muncie Central volleyball, boys’ soccer, and girls’ soccer had mixed results in their season openers, with both wins and losses. Delta boys’ soccer had a strong start to their season with a convincing win against Daleville. The girls’ golf team at Delta had a successful match against Daleville and ended in a tie for medalists.
Throughout the week, various volleyball matches took place with teams like Yorktown, Delta, Wapahani, Cowan, and Muncie Burris competing. In boys’ soccer, Delta and Muncie Central had varying outcomes in their matches. Delta girls’ soccer had a tough start to their season with a loss against Eastbrook. The Wapahani girls’ golf team performed well in a two-day event against Daleville. Daleville volleyball also had a strong performance with a win against Cowan.
The week concluded with the Taylor University Trojan Cross-Country Opener where runners from several schools, including Daleville, Muncie Central, Delta, and Wapahani, competed. The event showcased talent from the schools with Wapahani’s boys’ team winning the meet. Additionally, Yorktown volleyball and Muncie Central volleyball played in multiple matches with mixed results.
