On March 14, 2025, the Delaware State Police responded to a road rage shooting on Route 1 in Smyrna. A black Infiniti sedan was involved in a road rage incident with a black pickup truck, resulting in the suspect firing a gun at the victim’s vehicle. Fortunately, the driver and passengers of the Infiniti were unharmed. The suspect vehicle fled the scene and is still at large.
